What is Library to Go? How does it work?
Answer
Library to Go
A service that allows current students, faculty, and staff to request items from the NCC Libraries' physical collections. These items are available for library pickup, interoffice delivery, or free UPS delivery. Scanning for articles, chapters, or sections of books (limited to 20 pages per request or other copyright considerations) is also available through the Library to Go service. These items will be scanned and sent by email or photocopied for library pickup or free UPS delivery, as copyright considerations allow. Scans of portions of the library's course reserves will be accessible through Blackboard if requested.
Submitting Your Request
Provide us with details about the item(s) you need and indicate your pickup or delivery preference using the Library to Go request form. Need help finding your item information? Use SpartaCat, the library's catalog, or work with our librarians on your request.
Requests are usually fulfilled within 24-72 hours, but depending on item location and your pickup or delivery preference, may take as long as one week to complete. We will work to fulfill requests as soon as possible.
Delivery or Pickup, and Returning Your Items
Once your item is ready, we will let you know that it has been shipped or is ready for you to pick up at the library you chose.
The UPS delivery option is free to you and you will be provided with an envelope and shipping label to use when you are ready to return your item.
Pickup at Bethlehem Mack Library is at the library circulation desk. Pickup at Pocono ESSA Library is at the Information Desk. Please bring your NCC ID with you. Items will be held for you for one week. Items can be returned using the library's outdoor dropboxes.
