Q. What is Library to Go and Library to Go PLUS and how do they work?
Library to Go is a service that allows current students, faculty, and staff to request items from the NCC Libraries' physical collections. These items are available for campus pickup or UPS delivery.
Library to Go PLUS is a scanning service for articles, chapters, or sections of books (maximum of 20 pages per request). These items will be scanned and sent by email or photocopied for campus pickup or UPS delivery, as copyright considerations allow..
Here's how it works:
Provide us with details about the item(s) you need and indicate your pickup or delivery preference using the Library to Go and Library to Go PLUS request form.
Requests are usually fulfilled within 24-72 hours, but depending on item location and your pickup or delivery preference, may take as long as one week to complete. We will work to fulfill requests as soon as possible. Once your item is ready, we will let you know that it has been mailed or is ready for you to pick-up on-campus.
The UPS delivery option is free to you and you will be provided with an envelope and shipping label to use when you are ready to return your item.
On-campus pickup at Bethlehem campus is located in the College Center building at the library kiosk outside room CC-114. On-campus pickup at Monroe campus is at the ESSA Bank & Trust Foundation Library Information Desk. Items will be held for you for one week.
Pickup hours are:
- Monday 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Tuesday 8:00am -8:00pm
- Wednesday 8:00am - 8:00pm
- Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday 11:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday 11:00am - 5:00pm
Items can be returned using the library's outdoor dropboxes.
