Q. Will I be charged overdue fines if I wasn't able to return an item while the libraries were closed?

As a result of the college's COVID-19 shutdown and only a partial reopening of campuses since, the NCC libraries are not currently charging overdue fines on any borrowed items that are returned late. In addition, we've waived all outstanding overdue fines.

Due dates are still in effect, which assures that library materials are available and accessible for others to use. Due date courtesy reminders and overdue email notices will continue.

Borrowers will be billed for unreturned items and are responsible for paying any resulting replacement fees.

Our overdue item and fine policy will be reviewed and is subject to change when NCC and the libraries are able to fully reopen.
