Q. Is test proctoring available? Which tests and exams do the libraries proctor?

Answer

In-person exam proctoring has resumed on a limited basis for some outside exams. Proctoring for NCC course exams and makeup tests is not available. Remote proctoring is available online for some exams, including the ATI TEAS exam.

Bethlehem

Pearson Vue tests are proctored on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the library by appointment, scheduled through Pearson Vue.

When arriving to campus for their appointment, testers must undergo the NCC Health Check and obtain a wristband showing they pass the screening before proceeding to the library's Testing Center. Mask wearing and social distancing is required and testers will be expected to wipe down their assigned testing station before and after testing. Anyone accompanying the tester to the library must also undergo the NCC Health Check and obtain a wristband.

Pearson Vue has additional COVID protocols that testers must follow.

Monroe

Testing at our Monroe locations is still suspended, no exams can be proctored there.

Remote Proctoring by Library Proctors

Remote proctoring for the ATI/TEAS test is available for NCC nursing program applicants, monitored by library proctors. More information can be found on our TEAS Remote Testing page.

More Remote Proctoring Options

The GED exam is now available in English and Spanish for testers to take from home, monitored by an online proctor from GED Testing Services. Visit https://ged.com/take-the-ged-test-online/ for more information.

Pearson Vue also offers their own online proctoring for several exams through their OnVue program. See their list of online exams

CLEP offers online proctoring for all their exams by selecting at home with remote proctoring as their preferred test center when they register for their CLEP Exam.
