Am I able to attend an online class at the libraries?
Answer
Yes, students needing a space to connect to an online class may use the libraries to do so. Students may bring their own device or use one of our computers for video conferencing (Zoom, Blackboard Collaborate, etc) in designated library areas. All library computers and laptops are equipped with a camera and microphone. Regardless of where you settle in the library, we ask that you use earbuds while participating in an online class. Some are available, equipped with a microphone, for free at our service desks.
Attending Online Classes while at Bethlehem Mack Library
All areas of the library except for the Computer Tower are available for video calls and Zoom. The Computer Tower is reserved for quiet study, with no video or phone calls allowed there. If you sit in the Computer Tower to attend an online class, you will be asked to move to a different area.
